FAQs
Please review the FAQ below before attending our festivals for the most current information and updates.
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: NO REFUNDS. Tickets are non-refundable, per event industry standard (similar to a concert, sporting event, etc.). The festival will occur regardless of the normal weather conditions. If you cannot attend for any reason, you may either sell or give your ticket to someone else, but we do not issue refunds or credits for future event.
Q: Is this an outdoor event?
A: Yes! This festival takes place outdoors in the park.
Q: What does my $55 ticket include?
A: Your ticket includes admission to the festival, a sampling cup and 15 tokens for 3 oz. beer samples. We are a non profit trade association, and your ticket purchase supports our organization, and helps to offset the many costs associated with the festival such as beer, tents, toilets, security, music, insurance, equipment, etc.
Q: How do I purchase a Designated Driver ticket?
A: DD tickets will be available at the event for $20. You must be 21 or older to purchase a DD ticket, and must be attending with a person or group with regularly priced admission tickets.
Q: Is there a list of Beers?
A: At the gate there will be a printed program available with a list of beers and other important information. Check out our online Beer List by clicking on or Scanning the QR-Code to the right. You can also use the online list during the festival to vote for the People's Choice Awards. (Sorry no early voting, taste it first)
Q: Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
A: All festival attendees must be 21 or older to enter, even if they are designated drivers and are not drinking. No one under 21 is allowed on the festival grounds, including children and/or infants. A valid government ID is required for festival entry, with NO exceptions.
Q: Will There Be Food Available?
A: There will be food available for purchase.
Q: What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
A: There is little to no parking adjacent to the event. We encourage you to park in the various public parking garages and lots in downtown Marquette and walk to the park.
Q: Can I bring my baby, child, dog, cat, ferret, llama to the event?
A: For the comfort and safety of our guests, babies, children and animals of any kind are not allowed.

You may bring any of the following items with you to the festival: water and other non-alcoholic beverages in non-glass containers, food, folding/camping chairs, coolers.
Q: Is my registration/ticket transferable? How do I transfer my ticket to another attendee?
A: Yes, tickets are transferable - but each bar code will only scan one time. You do not need to do anything special to transfer your ticket to another attendee's name. Purchaser name will not be checked against ID-holder name at the gate.
Q: Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
A: You must bring a ticket with you to be scanned to allow you entry to the festival. This ticket can either be printed or be the electronic version accessible on your smartphone or wireless device.
Q: How can I get early admission to the event?
A: Enthusiasts with valid membership ID card will be permitted into the festival early (noon), one hour prior to general admission (1pm). If you'd like to participate in early entry, you can sign up as an Enthusiast Member prior to the festival date.
Q: I am an Enthusiast Member but my DD is not. Can they get in early with me?
A: No. Only current Enthusiast Members can get in during the early entry hour. Your DD will have to either wait to enter with the general public, or purchase an Enthusiast Membership.
Q: Can I buy a Designated Driver ticket and then drink if I change my mind?
A: No. Servers will not pour beer to Designated Drivers, and anyone caught drinking on a Designated Driver ticket will be immediately ejected from the festival. Please remember that we are a non profit organization, with festival tickets being our main source of revenue. Please do not attempt to buy a lesser priced ticket if you want to sample beer.
Q: I’d like to exhibit at the festival, is that allowed?
A: No. The Michigan Brewers Guild festivals are limited to our member breweries only, and no outside vendors are allowed. We do not allow the handing out of any literature, promotional material, swag or other items by the general public or businesses other than our participating members.
